Andy receives the NSF CAREER Award

The Joe Lab has been funded by the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program!

We will establish a new paradigm for creating designable solid-state quantum simulators and use novel optical techniques to study the underlying correlated states. We will also help bring 2D material research to the classroom through high school teachers.
