Graduating Undergraduates

The Joe Lab has three seniors graduating and attending graduate school. Congratulations to Juan Arreola (University of Michigan), Federico Lopez Iturburu (UC Davis), and Louis Lin (UCLA).

Juan Arreola will be attending University of Michigan for his PhD Physics and received UCR’s Rosemary S.J. Schraer Award. Juan’s thesis is titled “Fabrication of CrSBr van der Waals Heterostructures.”

Federico Lopez Iturburu will be attending UC Davis for his PhD in Physics. Federico’s thesis is titled “Device Fabrication and Simulation of Superlattice Potential with Nanopatterned Structures.”

Louis Lin will be attending UCLA for his Master’s in Material Science. Louis’s thesis is titled “Development of an Automated Exfoliation Machine for Producing Two-Dimensional van der Waals Materials.”
